Addyson loves to hold her own bottle now....she thinks she's a big girl sometimes! I just love it!! This is her last Saturday morning watching her cartoons and feeding herself!

On Saturday night, I had the pleasure of going to Shay and Justin's engagement party in McMinnville. We don't go out that much since Addyson came along so I think I cleaned up quite nicely.... enjoy a few pics of Addy and I before I left. I sure cannot deny her but her hair is getting much lighter than mine! She wanted the camera and down from my arms. She "thinks" she's a BIG GIRL....I'm in for it already!

Addy's 1st Trip to Vandy

Today our sweet little Addyson had ear tubes put in at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. The procedure was very quick (10 mins tops) and she was the perfect patient. She laughed and smiled at all the doctors and nurses! She never cried until after the procedure and she wanted her milk. Hopefully the ear tubes will help solve the ear infection problem that we've been facing since she started daycare 2 months ago. Here's a few pics of our happy little patient this morning!

Week 29- I'm a BIG GIRL!

Addy Bear's 6 month check...just a few weeks late!

Today, we finally made it to Addyson's 6 month check-up. Once again, she was a BIG girl and took her shots like a pro! She weighed about 16lbs and was 25 3/4 inches long! WOW, how time flies and how much she has grown. She's been pulling at her ear...AGAIN and sure enough she had another left ear infection again; however, her tubes are scheduled for next Monday at Vanderbilt so hopefully after that we'll have no more ear infections for awhile. I'm praying that mommy will be okay for the tubes on Monday :(

Addy just loved the paper at the doctor's office....it's her new favorite toy! Here's a pic from last night with her cheeks all rosey and a little sick and then two from today's doctors visit. She's a big girl now....we are up to #2 baby foods now for a variety! Yippee :)

Tonight Addyson and I were playing after bath-time.....I just had to spike her hair since it's getting longer! Fun times with mommy! I don't think daddy liked it!

We're Moving!

We (well Karen our lovely "patient" real estate agent/Brian's aunt)finally found the house of our dreams and we are moving October 26th! We have searched long and hard and finally found a wonderful house to move to! It's in Sunset Harbour in Mount Juliet.... I think we were determined to move to that subdivision since it's so close to the lake and so close to Neill, Amy & Baby Lalaina. We just love the area!

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers in our house search. We are so happy that we finally found a wonderful house and sold our house so quickly!

Cheryl's Baby Shower

My long-time and dear friend Cheryl and her hubby Rob are expecting a little bundle of joy! Trey will hopefully arrive in early October! On Sunday, Tav, Shay & I hosted a baby shower for Cheryl and it turned out great! Cheryl, you are going to be an amazing mommy! I cannot wait for Trey & Addy to play together...she might be into younger men! Hehe! Congrats girl, we love you!
